Description

Marnie is an aspiring stand-up comic of Jewish background sharing an apartment in Toronto with the actress/bartender Jennifer.  Financially strapped, they decide to take in a roommate on a short-term basis until they can get back on their feet. Annie, a lawyer from Ottawa working on a special project in town, moves in with them. The three women quickly develop an excellent rapport until it is discovered that Annie's legal case is an alleged Nazi war criminal that is also her grandfather.

Exactly what kind of a relationship can Marnie and Annie hope to have as descendants of both the persecuted and the persecutors? Anger Begets explores the nature of friendship through the question of tolerance and acceptance in an often light but always honest manner.

Running Time: 45 minutes
