The best way to support our projects as an individual is to buy something from our online store. A significant percentage of the proceeds will go toward our projects and you receive not only that item, but the benefit of having supported independent theatre through your purchase.

Corporate Support
There are many ways for the private sector to support Independent Theatre - either through sponsorship and promotion through a product or branding tie-in or through various barter relationships. With limited public funds for the Arts, it is important for the private sector to contribute for a number of reasons:

Building Relationships
 Producing Independent Theatre in Toronto is always a challenging experience due to the lack of financial assistance from the public sector for such productions. There is a growing opportunity for the Artistic and Business Communities to come together to form a mutually beneficial arrangement. Here are some reasons to invest in Theatre and Upstart Crow: 

Benefit to Society
Your investment in the Arts is an investment in the quality of Canadian life. As a member of society you have a vested interest in that quality of life to make it as rich and varied as possible for yourself, your employees and your customers.  It's become increasingly important for the private sector to invest due to the declining assistance from the public sector.

Endurance
 Theatre has survived for over 2000 years with its simple tradition of oral storytelling. It's one of the few Arts which allows direct communication and continual feedback between an artist and their audience. Theatre is a communal event and your investment secures and promotes it's endurance.
