Verit (2000)

Verit

Verit is accused of rape.
Is he guilty or innocent?
Or does it matter...?

Verit is a man who lives in Western Society - anytown, anyprovince or anystate. He has an average life: a girlfriend, a good job and good friends. Then one day he is accused of rape. The question of his guilt or innocence is rarely addressed, instead the accusation alone condemns him and we witness the deterioration of his personal, professional and social lives until finally the only truth he is left with is his own. The question is whether he will be able to hold on to those truths in the face of so much opposition and prejudice.
